Nursery in an apartment

We are in a really nice 2 bedroom apartment. We don't want to move right now but know we will buy a house in the near future. This is our first and it will be his only baby room so i don't want to be skimpy with decorating his room. I also don't want to paint because we would have to paint it back or they would take it out of our security deposit.

I guess my question is: would you paint baby's room? or would you just use wall decals and decorative pictures, etc?

Re: Nursery in an apartment

  • We are moving into a house that was just painted, and I am going to make the paint work, I would rather spend that money on something more useful than paying for paint (I know it doesn't cost that much, but still). If your wall is nuetral, they can be a nice back drop to any colors you pick for accessories.

  • We're in a two bedroom apartment trying to decide how best to convert the second room into a nursery - it has been our office, which is hard to let go of, so I'm trying to think through if there's a way to have it half office/half nursery without losing too much of the nice nursery vibe.  But that'd only be for me & our visitors, because that baby sure isn't going to know a difference, at least not for a few months!
