Testes Tuesday

Don't have a big gripe, just dreading tonight.  DH is headed over to the other side of the state to do some business and he'll stay the night at his parents.  He invited me, but I didn't want to skip out on swim lessons and my friend's baby shower.  (Is that lame?)  C was shuffling around at 6:30am, I'm hoping that he figures out that is too early.  Not looking forward to this evening alone.  I know that I can handle it, but it sure is nice to get a break.

p.s.  I sound like a total ass when I read this through the eyes of a single Mom, or someone who's spouse is deployed.

    DH and I are both sick with colds.  We have the same thing, but of course, for him it is so much worse.  Confused

    I have a few..

    DD2 is 5 weeks old and FF. DH has never offered to do a night feeding, but complains that I'm tired and don't help him get DD1 ready in the AM.

    I went to Walmart last night after the DD1 went to bed to get something for him. He never said thank you. When I got home, there were still dishes everywhere from dinner, DD2 needed to be fed, and DD1s toys still needed to be put away. He immediately asked me if I was ready for bed and then sat and watched me while I did those things instead of helping.

    And then, I went into DD1s room to get some diapers for her to take to daycare. There were 4 wet diapers laying on the changing table with a diaper pail RIGHT next to it.

    Them when I finally got in bed, he put the moves on me and was annoyed that I shot him down. I haven't been cleared for sex yet and having to go behind him and clean up doesn't turn me on.

    Chunstad, you don't sound like an ass. Or if you do, I am right there with you. When the NHL finally announced the season, my first sound wasnt 'yay, money' or 'yay, hockey', it was 'bedtime is gonna suck'.

    I ha e no big gripe either. I am just generally p!ssed at the world. Mastitis makes me bitchy. And whiney. DH helps where he can. But I feel like he just doesn't get it.

    Dh gets up at 3Am and i get up with him to make his lunch, shakes and coffee, i also pack his gym bag before he leaves.

    Well he has been leaving late the past week or so because he tells me to hit snooze once or twice and then i just continue to hit it....oops.

    Well this morning he yelled at me because i didnt get him up on time.
    He is in the same damn room as me, how is it my fault that he doesnt know how to drag his own ass out of bed? He can hear the alarm to, so why is it not his fault?

    Arghhhhh

    Girl....all I'm going to say is he is a very lucky man.  I would NOT put up with that sh!t and take care of his kid, too.

    I'm so sorry he isn't helping more! If that were MH, he'd have been read the riot act by now!!

    I hate that!  DH does the same thing every time.  Hell, the one time he didn't even get the cold that Lily and I had, but the only thing he had to say/comfort he had to offer was "You better not make me sick!"  This last time he was making such a big deal about the cold Lily gave both of us and I wanted to yell at him "At least you're not pregnant and caring for a sick toddler at the same time!" but of course his cold was oh so much worse than mine (not! he's just a baby).

    stardust, I'm sorry your H is being such a jerk.  He definitely needs to be straightened out.

    SO had to go to Seattle today for a meeting. Last night, he sat around instead of getting his stuff ready. He knew Gator and I have swimming lessons on Tuesday and that I needed to drop him off at the airport in Portland at 9:30. This morning, he starts ironing his clothes at 9:30. His flight is leaving at 10:30. I had to listen to him yell at slow drivers the whole way as he is racing down the freeway since he is late. He gets dumped off at 10am and then Gator and I are late to swimming.

    Fast forward to now: I get home from swimming, and like I always do, throw our suits and towels in the wash. About 30min later, I walk into a completely flooded laundry room. Apparently last night SO noticed there was a rip in the seal on the washer door and forgot to tell me. Then it dawned on me that the basement may be flooded as well. Sure as shiit, water is pouring from the ceiling of the basement and hitting boxes below. Boxes full of......all of my pictures of me growing up. SO had sat them down there, to get them out of the way, when the window installer came to measure windows.
