I've been using castile soap on my hair for about four weeks. My hair always feels really greasy and looks drab and dull. I read that this would happen for a few weeks when you stop using shampoo, but it is normal to still be doing it after a month? Is there anything I can do about it?
Re: those who don't use shampoo
Which form of castille soap are you using? I know it can take a while to get used to the baking soda but liquid castille soap for me had no difference from shampoo.

Both the baking soda and castile soap make my hair tangle. And I have the most tangle free hair in the world normally!! So that was no good for me.
I have been using green beaver and love it. Not sure if you can get it in the US, but "there's lead in your lipstick" listed it as one of the best hair products that is chemical free.

baking soda & acv worked terribly for me, I read it may have to do with living in a hard water state (we don't have a soft water filter). Interested in the Castile & coconut oil with acv rinse. Did it work right away, or did your hair go through an adjustment phase?
