No offense but I wasn't really worried about what DH thought about holding a girly diaper bag. I'm going to be the one with the diaper bag 98 percent of the time. I ordered mine from Target. It's a Tiddliwinks Carry All diaper bag in Cafe Morocco. It is 60 bucks and comes with the bag, a small pouch, large pouch, diaper pouch, bottle holder, and pacifier holder. I'm super excited to get it Tuesday!!
I agree with the PP who suggested the Diaper Dude. I haven't seen any IRL but I've seen pics online. I also find that a lot of styles of the Skip Hop line of diaper bags are basic-looking. I can see a man having no problem carrying one.
Ooh...and then there is the Lug Tuk Tuk diaper bag. It is roomy and very functional. I can see a man carrying this one too. I wouldn't say it's classy though. It looks like a diaper bag but it is quite nice.
And then there is the diaper bag that I purchased. I think it looks like more of a purse than a diaper bag. I think it looks fairly classy and, in black, I can see a man not minding holding it. But I can't see one taking it anywhere on his own.
I got an Eddie Bauer one from Target that is black with some blue accents. I love it, but it's also pretty manly and DH said he wouldn't feel embarrassed carrying it.
I let DH pick out the diaper bag since I wanted him to feel OK with carrying it too and he picked a Diaper Dude bag in a charcoal color that I was totally fine with too. I'm not a froofoo kind of bag girl to begin with so it was a nice middle ground. It was on super sale a few months back at BRU so we went ahead and just bought it rather than wait for showers and such. They're a little expensive but I'm hoping that means it'll hold up well.
We received the Truly Scrumptious black diaper bag from BRU that we registered for. The outside of the bag is husband appropriate and the inside of the bag is gray and black cheetah print. It is a great size, lots of pockets inside and out and even a couple of pockets are insulated for bottles. You can carry like a purse, there is a shoulder strap, and there is a stroller strap. It even comes with a changing pad. I'm in love with it!
This is what I got.... it is the Eddie Bauer Harrington - black and green. Very neutral. I personally did not want a bright, girly bag so I picked something I knew DH would carry. I am also thinking about getting the Eddie Bauer backpack diaper bag. I am going to see how I like the over the shoulder.

This is what we got too. I can't tell if it's blue or greenish accent, but it's black mostly and I feel like it has a lot of space and could work for either of us..Although DH is not picky, I am sure if I had picked a diaper bag with giant pink flowers, he'd still carry it fine..
My DH never cared about what the diaper bag looked like. More often than not he was carrying it for me if we were out together and said he never thought twice about it looking girly or whatever, it's a diaper bag. I say get whatever you like.
I have a Ju Ju Be bag that is awesome, though expensive. I found the less expensive ones didn't last and I ultimately spent more replacing them.

This!! My husband said it was still too girly for him to carry so we got him a Columbia backpack diaper bag. Im in love with the Truly Scrumptious bag!!
Since SO will be out and about often with LO, we wanted him to feel comfortable carrying his bag, and he wanted something that could double as a messenger-type bag for some of his own stuff. That's how we registered for (and were gifted) the Columbia bag he's been sporting around for a couple of weeks now!
As for me, I wanted something neutral, that looked like a diaper bag. We are planning on more children, therefore we needed something that would be light enough for one, but roomy enough for 2-3. I chose a Chicco bag, grey with beige-y accents, and it's amazing.
My SIL has a JJCole bag that's cute enough to look like a purse, but is still practical. They have more models that look gender neutral enough for dads... You should check that out. (AND they're way less expensive than some other brands out there!)
