Well, my last hope of cycling in February after ithe doctor was forced out was crushed yesterday. The new doctor will not move forward that quickly without doing their own assessment. Problem is they say it will be the April-May cycle so that much more delay than i was hoping for. So I guess maybe I will wait to see if the current place gets a new doctor quickly to see if I could cycle any sooner than that. In any case, it looks like I will be leaving the group. Hi ladies -
We had our egg retrieval this morning, got 7 eggs which is way better than I had hoped (they only saw 5 measurable ones on u/s). They are going to ICSI all of them to try and fertilize as many as possible. I'm hoping there are at least 1 or 2 that will make it to transfer.
Sorry everyone that I've been MIA lately, the stress of all this was really getting to me and I needed some time away. I love you all but if I saw one more fert report with a huge number of eggs I was pretty sure I was going to lose it. DOR sucks doneky balls.
QOTD - saw Silver Linings Playbook this weekend and cried at the end! DH teased me about it. I blamed the meds.

Congrats on your 7 eggs!! That is fantastic for DOR, and a nice little surprise for you And I completely understand about the fert reports with high numbers of eggs. My AFC this cycle is 6 and I am just praying that I can get 4 of those to mature! I'll be keeping my FX for you that you get a great report in the morning.

Tonight is day 4 of stims. I went in for monitoring this morning and it looks like everything is still quiet- I had nothing over 10 yet. They increased me to 300 Gonal F and 225 of Menopur and I'll go back again on Thursday. Hope you're all doing well!
QOTW: The Budweiser commercial made me cry in my cube at work. ha ha

Hi everyone,
I had an incredibly stressful day waiting for my blood test results! This cycle I took 100 mg of clomid for 5 days and then 450 iu gonal f for two days. At my first blood test my estrogen had only gone up from 27 to 28 or something. They upped my dose to 600 iu of gonal f for the past 2 days but also said that I may get cancelled. I found out this afternoon that my estrogen went up to 79 which is better but still terrible! So they said to take 375 iu of gonal f for two days and come back for an ultrasound and blood test in two more days but they said it will probably end up being another IUI
Clearly the first 4 IUIs didn't work so I wouldn't be super hopeful. Why can't my stupid ovaries produce follicles!? My antral follicle count was 17! Thinking about getting a second opinion..

I hope those ovaries of yours cooperate!

Stimming away - Follistim in the morning, Lupron & Menopur in the evening. I go in tomorrow morning for my first monitoring appt. Nothing else too exciting going on here. I scheduled a massage for the 16th (should be right in between ER & ET). My nurse said it is okay as long as they stay away from the abdomen area.

QOTD: I would have to say the series finale of Private Practice got to me a bit. And Les Miserables was a tear jerker of a movie.

Hello ladies. Still plugging away on Lupron, but took my last BCP on Sunday night. A very weak AF started today. Not sure what is going on there. I've had a migraine since Sunday so I hope that AF is what was driving my headache. I miss my migraine drugs....

QOTD: what doesn't make me cry? I am a big pushover and cry at everything. Today, I teared up reading a knitting essay about a woman finding all the stuff she had knit for her mom while settling her mom's estate.

Still prepping for FET 2 on Saturday! I'm on 2mg estrace 3x a day, crinone 2x a day, my lining is "excellent," and I feel ready!

I posted earlier about my crazy insomnia, and I'm also developing canker sores! Wtf! I don't "feel" stressed, but I must be. Blergh.

Qotd: anyone watch the tv show Parenthood? I'm not a big cryer, but that show does it almost every episode! I think it's really well done, though.

I know what you mean about headaches and not being able to take anything but tylenol. I had a headache from the lupron that started 4 or 5 days in and then it went away within the first couple days of stims. Good Luck!
