30 Day Shred

Anyone have any success stories from doing 30 Day Shred. I've done 10 consecutive days and so far feel good about the results as far as weight loss goes but it still seems that I have a ways to go to get rid of the pooch in my belly. Anyone else having success with this workout? Any other workouts you're having success with?

  • Yes!!  I had a TON of success with 30DS.  I still have a pooch, but that's from extra skin and so many stretch marks and diastasis recti.  I don't sweat it.  I'm fit and I look great (as long as I have most of my clothes on!!).

    Anyways, I started with 30DS and after 45 days of it, I added running.  I started Hal Higdon's half marathon training schedule.  

    I have been doing 30DS over and over again following Natalie and using 5, then 8, then 10 lb weights for about a year now.  I really like that it's only 20 minutes, and I am much stronger now than I've been in the past.

  • If you like 30 Day Shred You should try Yoga Meltdown. Its pretty intense and youll be really flexible in about 2 weeks!
  • I've been on and off of it so I dont have personal remarks but my girlfriends rave about it.

  • Lots of success! So far I have only managed to do it like 7 times in a row at the most, but then it's also good to jump back in with when I need to amp up my workout routine. For instance, I can't really get to it every day, but it's great on the weekends to do when it's too cold to run outside in the winter. I noticed a huge change in my stomach after doing it for 7 days, combined with running, so I can imagine if you go hardcore with the 30 days or more that you would see fantastic results! Also make sure you are doing well in your diet, too, otherwise it won't do much.

  • When I was getting back into shape after DS#1 I did 30 Day Shred. I didn't loose a ton of weight from it; after the 30 days I joined weight watchers, started running and did an areobics class over the summer to loose the weight. But I did notice that it got me in the habit of working out, it increased my stamina and was enjoyable. I will probably do it after LO#2 in May before advancing to P90X.

  • I had a lot of success with it - I did it twice. I am always watching what I eat and that helps me maintain a healthy weight, BUT I am still jiggling. So I did the 30DS to help with that, right before two "beach" trips, and I saw amazing results. I took before and after pics and it was definitely noticeable. I didn't actually lose much more weight while doing it, I lost about 4 lbs each time (which is healthy, 1 lb per week), but I lost INCHES big time and that was worth it to me. I also didn't feel like my belly was shrinking when I was doing it, but after I took those pictures at the end, I realized it HAD been working.

  • I did the 30 Day Shred last summer for one month and then immediately followed that up with Ripped in 30 (both Jillian Michaels). In 4 months, I lost 30 lbs but that was also watching what I ate and using the LoseIt app on my phone. Before/After pics in my blog (search back to August of 2012).

    After eating like crap over the holidays, I recommitted to the Shred and am on day 3 right now. Stick with it - you will see results  Yes
