Hubby getting symptoms too!

I swear my husband is getting the same symptoms as me  lol   He gets nauseous, cravings and has totally been irritable lately.  Yesterday he complained of a headache all day. I find it somewhat amusing that he seems to be getting the same symptoms but has anybody else's SO stated having some of the same symptoms as you?

Funny you say this because yesterday he was asking for tums because he had heartburn, and then he complained that he was "soooo exhausted".  That followed with me giving him a stare down.  But, if I recall correctly, he had "symtoms' with my last one too! lol

My DH claims to be having symtpoms too, but I don't buy it. Most of his "symptoms" (mostly food cravings) aren't even the same symptoms I'm having! LOL

Haha. My hubby isn't doing this, but I have to laugh because I was just reading about this in the dad section of what to expect yesterday. It's apparently called sympathy symptoms and is completely normal.

DH was irritable last week, which is very out of character for him, but pretty much bang on for me in the past few weeks.  Maybe it was a sympathy symptom, maybe he's sick of how grumpy I've been, or maybe we're just both stressed by the 100 changes we will be making in the next few months (moving, renovating our income property, him looking for a new job, taking on more financial hardships, having a baby and those financial hardships).

Yesterday, after having a big dinner, he did ask if we could take a "belly shot" of his food baby.  So maybe ...

I heard about the hubbies getting the same symptoms as the mamas to be. My friend gained 20 lbs while his wife was pregnant, and everyone is telling me that my husband is going to gonna put on the pounds too, but he wont because he will be at a special training camp with marines...and it kinda makes me mad cause he is gonna come back all fit and thin and i will be big and round! NOT fair! hahaha.

The only thing is DH claims he's having cravings for things. I'm positive though that he thinks if he says he's craving something enough I'll crave it & then we'll go get whatever he wants.

lol! This is funny Mine only gets fatigue... I think is an excuse to go to sleep

No thank goodness. Only one of us is allowed to be irritated at a time.

DH hasn't had any symptoms - hopefully your DH doesn't start getting a bump.

With my last pregnancy I seemed to mostly skip the "Cravings" symptom, so my husband had that one for me. He seemed so dissapointed that I wasn't wanting junk all the time with him.

Dad here... Tell them welcome to pregnancy... with our first I had to pee more then my wife... this time I am hoping to stay in the clear (though I know dads who had morning sickness while their wives were feeling good

Yes! Mine has been complaining of fatigue, bloating, irritability and such. He also took me to the store late one night because I had been talking about all my cravings that week and he has been getting cravings too. It's been fun to be able to experience this time with him
