Lnci on the road again

Well it's 12:20 and dh and I are driving home from nj after the Super Bowl. It is 3.5 hours from here in good weather and we are expecting lake effect snow once we get past Albany. Ugh! Cj is asleep in the back seat fortunately he loves the car and I am trying to stay awake to keep him wake. I'm also afraid something I ate is not agreeing with me . I have been nauseous since halftime. Of course it figures we have to drive home so there is a 30 min delay in the game. It's going to be a long night.

Sorry you have such a long drive! And then not feeling well on top of that...I hope your trip goes by quickly so you can be home in bed.

1135 here. O finally woke from his out of ordinary late evening nap about 45 mins ago. We are currently doing skin to skin, but he has passed out on my chest and I desperately need to adjust my pillows.....oh what to do, what to do.

I hope you miss the snow and you get home safely! K usually goes down around 9, but we didn't get home until 10 from my mom's. Just got her down. This is the second night we have been able to swaddle arms in, she never would sleep like that before. She still woke up at her usual 230, but I just shushed her and she slept until until 5. I'm hoping tonight we can skip that shushing session. I don't like getting up at 5, but when I go back to work that's when I'll be getting up. Hope everyone has restful nights!

10 pm and baby girl just went down for the 2nd try (1st was at 9) ... she fought it tonight, but I think she has a tummy ache... had her 1st formula barf (all over auntie) this afternoon... and gurgle stomach since then, but she ate 4oz before bed. We will see I guess.. trying to decide if I have some bookkeeping in me tonight or not....

2:00. I'm so sleepy. I stayed up watching the Super Bowl. M fell asleep around 10:45 and woke up at 1:30. He talked to himself for about a half hour. I decided to get up and feed him ow since this is usually when he has his MOTN feeding. Hopefully he'll go back to sleep for a while.

Credcat, we're in the same boat tonight. Baby was extra fussy tonight and really fought going to sleep. I think she had a tummy ache too since she was arching and crying her "I'm in pain" cry.

My older one isnt feeling well either and didn't want to sleep in her room so all 4 of us are sleeping in the same room tonight. Not anticipating a very restful night. It's 1am now...here's hoping.

3:55 here. Baby H is perched on my shoulder after a feeding. So far tonight is an every 2 hour night. Hoping he'll be out enough when I put him down that he'll stay asleep for a little while.

I'm starving and don't think I have much food to hold me over til morning.

I just shushed Cu back to sleep and now I'm pumping. Boooo.

ETA. I just ate the juiciest pear I've ever had. Seriously... it was like dripping juice all down my arm and on the floor! Whoopsies. But it was delish.

4:15 here. Feeding Hallie. I spent literally ALL day cooking. I cooked 7 pkgs of pasta, 4 lbs of ground meat, 1 whole chicken, 3 batches of pancakes, 3 batches of waffles, 2 batches of fruit snacks, 2 batches of fruit roll ups and 5 pizza crusts. I also mixed together 3 batches of S.O.S. mix, 2 batches of homemade Bisquick, and made patties from 2 lbs ground beef and 2 lbs ground sausage. Whew. I'm dead. Then we went to my mom and dad's for supper/Super Bowl but came home at halftime.

It's 2am here, pretty sure I've seen every hour on the clock tonight. I have A in bed with me, and she's been a little fussy, needing her soother put back in a lot.
I figured I was going to be in for a long night since yesterday was such a long day, but she isn't as fussy as I was expecting. She travelled so well, so proud! Unless they were directly around me no one knew there was a baby on the plane!
12 pounds on my front and probably a 15 pound backpack on my back, my body is killing me! Good thing mom has a hot tub :mobile smiley:

Phew made it back home a 4am. Dream fed CJ and went to bed. He slept till 7 so I am one tired momma today. Hoping I get in a nap of some sort in. Fortunately we didn't hit bad snow till we got off the thruway and then it's only a 10 minute drive, so it wasn't as bad as I expected. Stomach is still a little weird but better this morning.

V drank his 6 and half ounce bottle around 8:15 and fell asleep on schedule around 9:15 while at my BIL for Superbowl. Woke when everyone screamed at a play late in 4th. I thought I was in for it. He was up the rest of our time there and the entire car ride home (so unusual for him!). We came in and read a book with Daddy, then had another 6 oz bottle around 11:30. He went down at 12:00. I swaddled him after the previous night's fiasco. He slept till 4:30. I gave him his paci and he went right back off. Slept till 7! Yeah for V!
