Hi ladies! Hope you all had a great week!

No BFP announcements this week.

This is a check in for those of us that are TTC #2 or more and that have had one or more losses. A few board members thought it would be nice to connect with other 2IF ladies who have had losses since it's nice to have the support and friendship of others going through similar experiences.

Check in is every Friday. Please note it may not be until afternoon or evening but I am planning to keep it going every Friday!

bklyninri - Welcome again to the check-in, although I'm so sorry for the loss that brings you here. How are you doing this week and how is your recovery going?

KKDRAGONFLY - How is your break from TTC going? How are the moving plans and RE search progressing?

kimberm0511 - I think you mentioned you were going to try to start working out again last week. How's that going? I hope your recovery is still going smoothly!

DahliaFlower - How are you feeling? I'm so, so sorry for your chemical pregnancy that just happened. I hope you were able to get some BD time in your FW this cycle!

Lauren79 - How was/is your vacation? I'm sorry I don't remember when it was going to be - but I hope your trip is a really nice break for you. I'm so glad to hear your levels finally went down and I just hope that your recovery continues to move along so that you are fully healed.

jennaqueena - How are you doing today? Saw your thread about getting the BFN - but it's still so early so I know we're all keeping everything crossed for you! Hang in there!

iloveshanej - I saw your thread about not getting AF and also not getting any BFP yet. I am sure the wait is driving you mad. Are you doing anything to take your mind off of it in the meantime? Will keep checking for updates! No AF means you're not out yet!

egsquared - How are you doing? What's the latest with this cycle?

SigmundsGirl - How's it going with you? How is the 2WW going? Anything you're doing in particular to drive the 2WW crazythoughts away?

efhoping2010 - What's new with you this week? I hope that things are going well.

laurid75 - We missed you last week but was just catching up on what's been going on with you on you other posts. How are you holding up? I know you mentioned you were going to keep testing daily - anything different to give you any indication? Also, I hope everything turns out well regarding the CF testing and that your husband isn't a carrier.

ttcmbbaby - We missed you last week and hope you're well.

QOTW: If you could meet anyone living or dead (in addition to our angel babies of course), who would it be? Why?

AFM...

Well things are moving along. I have some more info. My Anti Mullerian Hormone is ridiculously low. For those not familiar with that it is one of a number of tests that give indication of ovarian reserve, especially for Advanced Maternal Age (AMA) women. The rest of the indicators were actually pretty good or normal for me, but the AMH level is way outta line with the rest of the tests. So I'm not sure what that means (anyone who has knowledge on this please chime in!).

Also, I testing positive for a MTHFR mutation, so I'm researching about that. But it doesn't sound like it's that uncommon actually.

I have my follow up with my RE moved to Monday morning, so that will tell us for sure what all the results indicate and we will get his take on what we should do to move forward from here.

My stomach will be in knots all weekend. But I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for getting off the bench so that will be good. If all goes well we will be able to start trying again in time for my FW in mid Feb.

QOTW: I would want to meet my father's mother. I never got to meet her - I don't think my mother got to meet her either. But I imagine her as this overly loving Italian woman with a huge heart who was probably a great cook, but also had a stubborn streak and very passionate. Although she moved to America when my one aunt was very young, she refused to learn English because she had not wanted to leave their village in Italy.

Thanks for missing me!

Sounds like you're caught up with me - I'm 12 dptrigger and 11 dpIUI. Still getting strong positives, I'll test this weekend and if Monday is positive I will go in for a beta. I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic. I'm also in a better frame of mind about the CF carrier issue. I'm crossing my fingers DH isn't also a carrier but if he is we will go from there and meet with a genetic counselor. Things could be a lot worse!!

My paternal Grandmother died when my Dad was about 17 and I would love to meet her....

No real update, wishing everyone well.

QOTW: Of course the babies we never held and I would also love to meet some of my husband's ancestors, it would be fascinating to see where he came from. I also would love to meet Mozart and Beethoven but then I realize that women were treated very differently, rather poorly especially when it came to intellect, when they were alive and I might actually not enjoy talking to them.

Update: This has been one of the slowest weeks ever and I have had my fair share of the 2ww. I have been bloated and had cramps. I have had slight nausea, and a few other pg symptoms, but sadly I know that they are most likely from the HCG shot and the progesterone. I so badly want to POAS, but I am only 9 dpo and I have never had a + before 13 dpo.

And for some reason I have this strange gut feelign that it is negative and I am already getting kinda sad.

If this cycle doesn't work I will be going to India for work in March and I feel like it is salt on the wound. I'd have to leave the day after DS's 3rd birthday and be gone for 2 weeks. ugh.

QOTW: This is a great question! I really wish I had a great answer. I'm not sure who I would want to meet. Every time I think of someone I change my mind.

Hi everyone. TGIF! Thanks so much for having me. As you probably saw below, I had my D&C yesterday. I am feeling pretty good today. Had a few bouts of cramping but haven't felt the need to take the motrin. Stayed home today and slept a lot which helped. All I have to say is thank goodness for my babysitter. She lives with us and is an absolute angel!!!! I am scheduled to go to RE in 2 weeks to do a check. I believe I will go for a saline ultrasound after my first period. He wants to check again just in case. The plan is to get back in the swing of things as soon as we can but we just booked flights (DH and I) to San Francisco for a vacation at the end of March so I plan on waiting until after the trip to resume things. I think we just need a good vacation together right now. I am sad today but felt totally prepared for what was happening.

QOTW: I think I would like to meet Oprah! I miss her show and think she is amazing!

I'm 7dp3dt (10dpo). I plan on testing Sunday morning. At least, I hope my will power gets me through tomorrow and I make it til Sunday! Testing is pretty much all I think about. Tongue Tied

Today was our last day in Savannah. We had a rough start with everything going on and having to go for a level check here on Monday. My level was down to 100. I go Monday for another check.

It seems as though I finally started to relax Wednesday and here it is already Friday. We did a ton of sightseeing. Ali has been good on the trip.

I am ready to get back to my normal routine. I don;t know how I will feel when I get back to reality. I am kind of scared. I want to schedule my HSG asap but I have to wait for my level to reach 0.

Update : Got back from a house hunting trip. No luck. Putting our house on the market. Going back in two weeks for more house hunting. It sucks that my journey is on hold. We are unexplained SIF except for my age. I guess I could get a BFP on my own but I doubt it.
QOTW : I would love to see my grandparents again. They died before I was married and had DD.

Can I join this group? My story in short after 3 years with SIF I got my BFP on 11/18/2012. I miscarried last week at 10w3d and had my D&C yesterday. I have never had a loss before so these feelings are all new. We are on a two month break per doc until I heal all the way. I hope I can provide you all support as you will as me. Thank you...

Hoping to join as well. I am Leslie My story: My DS is 27 months. Last year in Feb/Mar, we got pregnant on our 1st IUI / Injectables cycle in the TTC #2 process. We were so excited as it had taken us 3 years and many cycles to get pg with our DS1 (including 2 early losses at 5w). However, we lost our DS2 on 6/15/12 at 18w. It was concluded to be a cord accident. We started TTC #3 again in September and have had 3 failed IUI/Injectable cycles since then (AF came today actually and confirmed our failed 3rd cycle.) The last two have been with a new RE as we moved from Michigan to South Carolina. I have an appointment on Monday to talk about options. We were hoping to do another IUI / Injectable cycle but my DH's counts have gotten really low so my RE is recommending us to move to IVF. We shall see what Monday brings. I am sorry that there is such a thing as infertility and 2ndary infertility and loss. I look forward to getting to know you!! Thank you!!

I will need to think about the QOTW a little more, I hope that is ok!!

I'm glad the end of your trip has been turning out well, although I'm sorry it was a rough start. Wish you had a longer get away! Good luck with your check on Monday. I think it's completely understandable to be a little scared - it is difficult to get back to a normal routine sometimes. Will be hoping your levels get down quickly!

I completely understand the feeling of being new to having a loss - we have all been there, unfortunately. Wishing you all the best for a good recovery, both physically and emotionally. The healing time is important and I hope it goes as well for you as possible.
