So far online, the best I've seen is the Phil and Ted's Portable Crib. BUT I'm having trouble finding somewhere to (a) see it and (b) buy it - since I'm in Canada.
Does anyone own this? Can you provide feedback on it? I've seen the Baby Bjorn PnP, but I'm not impressed by the weight/size when collapsed. I know there are also some inflatable ones, but that doesn't really appeal to me either. I think I would be more apt to go small and cheap if the Phil and Ted's doesn't work out.
FYI - I'd Iike something I could use at home, but that I could travel with and have LO sleep it and possibly use on the beach/outdoors.
Re: PnP - small, lightweight, easy for travel?
I've had mine for nearly six years, I absolutely love it. My model isn't as quick to assemble as the new ones, but really, I can set it up in about 2 minutes, so nbd. I actually looked at the Bjorn, but I didn't like the size folded either, since it needed to fit in my suitcase. I wasn't as impressed, especially at double the price.
P&T is just as elusive as it was six years ago, stores order it in, it sells out, then it takes months to get it back in stock. I ended up ordering it from the US. I put my order in May at West Coast Kids because I needed it for the end of June/beginning of July, and got a call three weeks later that stock from the company was delayed due to limited supply. I ordered from the US and got it in 8 days. I've been shopping at the local West Coast for 16 years, they have greast service. They called me in August to tell me that the stuff was being shipped and due to arrive the last week in August.
