  • I have a friend who has it and likes it. She said it smells a little coppery sometimes, TMI!!

I have Mirena and like it okay.

  • A good friend of mine has this. She has crazy periods now, not very predictable. She's had it a long time now too, over 2 years I believe and it's still like this. I considered getting it myself but decided against.

  • I have it and have no complaints. My periods are about the same as before. Maybe a little more cramping, but nothing that is a big deal.

  • I had it for 5 years. With it I had major cramps  (needed to take 600-800mg of Ibuprofen), heavy bleeding and my period lasted 10-14 days. I hated it but it worked....

With out it I have light periods do not need to use more than light tampons, no cramps and it lasts for 5 days.

I will not be getting it again.

  • I had it for a few years.  I also had major cramping and super heavy periods.  But it worked, and I never had to remember to take a pill every day.  I looked into getting a Mirena, but my insurance wont cover it.  I'm not sure that I'd get another Paraguard because of the issues I listed here.
