shower date?

My sister is throwing my shower, which she had planned for March 23rd. I was fine with that until she just informed me that she plans to start the shower at 3pm because she has class in the morning. I keep thinking that 3pm would be way too late to start a shower on a Saturday. She's off on March 30th, but that's the day before Easter and I'm not sure if people would be willing to come. Which date would you go with? Thanks!

    I don't think 3 pm is too late. 

    I would go to either a 3 pm shower or a Saturday before Easter shower.

    Personally i have been to showers at all times! Saturdays are open just have snacks for people to munch on either way and I am sure they will come! If sis has class 3 pm sounds good.

    I wouldnt do the day before Easter is a big deal at least for our family so I think you might run the risk of having fewer guest bc of family plans.

    But sis is throwing it so as long as you are open then I think it will pr should be up to her!

    another vote for 3 PM is fine and not the day before easter. 

     Anniversary
    When you've been married this long, you need a ticker to remind you.

    I also think 3 is fine.  I've gone to a lot of showers that start at 2 actually.

    It would be really hard for me to go to a shower the day before Easter since we celebrate Easter that day - I work on Sundays and Easter is not considered a holiday.  Plus, the day before is when we take the kids to the Easter egg hunt.

    Agree that 3 is fine and would much prefer it to the Saturday before Easter.

    3 pm is a great time for a shower. I'd actually see if you could do a 4 pm time slot if she has class so there may be more time to a set up and people could come for dinner.

    I wouldn't do a Saturday before Easter though. People may be traveling to see other family members or doing a his family on Saturday and her family on Sunday if they have kids so they can see both sides of the family.
