Very excellent sperm

So when my DH had his s/a in December things didn't look so hot, his has low motility and some other lower numbers. They did blood work on him and his testosterone was low and she estradial (i think its called for a guy) was a little high so they started him on meds. Last week they actually let us see a sample of his sperm before the wash and after on a microscope and it was really cool to see just how fast and how many there was. Ive been reading posts about numbers after the sperm wash and nobody mentioned it to me so today when the nurse called me I asked her if she knew our number. She said my dr doesn't do a count he grade them, like very bad, bad, good, very good, excellent and very excellent, so our sperm was very excellent. I was really happy with those results especially since they werent so great after this s/a. I also asked her on average what percent of woman get pg their first IUI and she said 35% and that most IUIs work the second time. It was a little bit of good info for me. Heres to another week of waiting!

Awesome! I too know the ups and downs of MFI. With DS we got pregnant on our first IUI so it can happen. good luck!
