Add to this people who don't properly clean off their car and then drive with a ton of snow all over it still. It's probably not unpopular, but who are these people that do that?
Holy crap, yes! This was exactly what I was thinking on Tuesday. It's not only ridiculously lazy (you're already clearing off part of it so you can see, why the hell can't you clear the roof, too?!), it's so friggin' dangerous! There were so many cars sending hunks of snow flying all over the highway the other day, it was crazy.
I am judging my co-worker today for being appalled that I was planning on taking Tuesday off for the DC area get-together when work was going to be busy and "she would be by herself and wasn't comfortable..." and making me come in. Tomorrow will be just as busy, but she is taking her day off. I was looking forward to that get together and am bummed that I missed it.
I also judge the fact that all our meetings need to be planned around her pumping schedule. I am totally for giving women the place and time to pump at work, but I am not responsible for picking up the slack while you are gone for 30 min 4 times a day, or filling you in on every detail of everything that happened during that time.
I judged the hell out of a lady I saw on my run on Tuesday. She was in all her workout gear and would jog, then walk, then jog. She was ahead of me. As I ran past her, I saw why she was doing the jog/walk - it was so she could smoke her cigarette on the walk breaks. Seriously? You're out doing something good and healthy and you can't even go without a cigarette for the time it takes you to complete some exercise?
at first I thought you were going to talk poo about the fact that she would run/walk and I thought "maybe she is doing C25K?" But as I read further....I had to LOL at this post!
Yeah I almost got offended Blu (because I am doing the jog/walk), but the fact that she was smoking makes the exercise counter intuitive.
My UO is we are in the beginnings of finding a new home, and I'm pissed about the number of forclosures in our area, most of them look awesome on the outside, but are complete dumps inside.
When we house hunting we saw one that had mushrooms growing out of the carpet. I kid you not! Short sales are a mess dealing with paperwork, but they are usually in a lot better condition.
The house we're buying is a foreclouse. It's a freaking pain in the butt. We've been working on buying it since October and we close Tuesday. I've never filled and refilled and refilled again (you get the picture) out so much paper work in my life. It's in good shape though. It needs some work and the carpets are filthy but it's not totally trashed. Plus, it appraised for 30percent more than we're buying it...I guess the people who owned it before just moved away to be with their kids and let it go into foreclosure. We've been in some where there were cigarette butts stashed in the walls and tons of nasty junk. People can be down right disgusting.

The short sale we bought was a nightmare. We put the offer in the first week of June and we closed the day before Thanksgiving.(nearly 7 months) Plus I was PG and we had a renter in our old home so we were staying with my parents it was misery!
We also saved a bunch on the home. We bought it for 100k less than the previous owners it obviously lost value along with everything else but it was appraised for 75k more than we paid!
The house is dated but we wanted a fixer upper. Right now it is acceptable but it is easier to list the things I don't want to change than what I want changed.
I think packer posted her original UO to try to throw us off. There have been a lot of trolls on parenting lately. Just sayin'.
Naw. I post enough under my real sn as Crystal pointed out. Plus, I'm raising a kid and work full time and don't have the sort of down time needed for that level of effort.
I mean, SAHMs wouldn't really have anything better to do with their day than make up AEs, right?

I go to a few doc appointments, and shiz gets awkward 'round here.

We all know that you're talking about me since I'm the only one on the board that had an AE. So why don't you just say that you don't think I'm funny? Sucks you don't have a sense of humor.

I trimmed the quote tree and I have no idea if I did it right LOL
We want a fixer upper too. We plan to live there for a few years and eventually sell. I know there's stuff that needs done but it's all cosmetic and can be changed over time. My inlaws want to do a short sale in a few years and I'm literally scared for them LOL Our realtor told us that if we think foreclosures are a pain short sales are MUCH worse.
I'm just thrilled we'll eventually be able to make a profit and we get to move out of this apartment! Wahooooo
Oh and I think older and sometimes dated homes have so much charm...really, I love them!
I judge people who treat people differently based on the age someone looks. I always get treated like a kid because I look young, it drives me crazy! I am going to be 30 next year, but because I look younger they assume I have less experience and knowledge! I was at a training yesterday and everyone was so rude, they kept saying things like "oh you wouldn't know the answer to this since you haven't been in the field long enough!" Or "this policy was changed before you were born, in 1996 might I add, so how would you know" they literally ignored my opinion because on the fact they thought I was young. And then they did out I have a kid and they side eye the crap out of me! Really!!! I was infuriated!
I don't think I look young for my age, 28, but I get this treatment sometimes too. I went house shopping last weekend and one of the sales ladies kept brushing off my questions about upgrades and directing me to lower price lots, saying how she wouldn't want us to end up house poor, we still need money to do fun things and save for the future, reminding me that I would need a down payment, etc. We aren't even looking at a very expensive area or a fancy house, and she had no idea what our financial situation is.
Thanks for the lecture, showhome sales lady, but you have no idea what I can and can't afford, and how much I am saving for retirement and my child's education. Don't assume I'm naive and irresponsible or poor just because I'm under 30, or blonde, or a woman, or whatever the hell other basis you are judging me on.
This would tempt me to switch sales people and give the commission to someone else, then go back after and show her the commission she missed out on, like a "pretty women" moment, only with houses not clothing.
Side question: did you decide to build or are you still deciding between that or buying a pre existing home? We are house hunting and I starting to lean toward building...
I also judge SiL and her mother. My ILs had to stay home cause FiL got sick. They gave their hockey tickets to BIL. Well, his wife and her mother went. They both didnt feel like watching the baby. WTF!?
I don't think I am reading this right. SIL and her mom went to a hockey game.. What's wrong with that? I need time away from baby now and then too. In sure I'm missing something.
Generally, there is nothing wrong with that. But the tickets were giving to BIL by his parents. To go to the game. Because he works around the clock, loves hockey and because he needs a break. SiL has the kid with her grandma on Mo and Thur, with her SiL and brother Tue and Fr and her mother every Sat aft to Sun after lunch. She doesn't work. She doesn't exactly keep house and doesn't walk the dogs. BIL does that.
So, generally, I know it's fine for a mom to take a break every now and then. God knows i could use one. But she barely ever has her kid in her care. So a break from what?!
Plus, frankly, they were a gift for BIL. Who was not allowed to go. She doesn't even like hockey.
And also, personally, I would have thought that grandma would have sent them out on a date and stayed with the kiddo.
Thanks for the context, Nita. I know you aren't the sanctimommy type so I knew there had to be more to it!
Yeah. I am a b!tch but not insane. Also, you may judge me now for being to lazy to type out the context in the first place.

I didn't think she meant it that way. I thought she was saying that she personally doesn't have the time to create and deal with an AE. I didn't take it that she was saying anything about SAHMs.
I am not a big AE fan either but to each his own. I do love the GIFs though.
