Why I love this board.

I just want to get this off my chest.
I've been posting regularly on TB for 3+ years. I've had lots of fun and made wonderful e- and IRL friendships. I've also participated in and enjoyed my share of drama and snark--and after three years, I'm just kind of weary of it.
I'm not bashing the drama and snark and conflict and outspoken differing opinions--that is what makes TB exciting and thought-provoking. I have nothing against the Parenting board or any other board on TB. I'm just ready for a new focus, at least for awhile.
So what I love about this board has very little to do with 1D, really. I dig the (usual) lack of drama and the virtual absense of negativity in any form. I dig the fact that I'm constantly laughing here, but never at anyone's expense. It's just a happy place and I have quite simply been in a better mood since I've been posting here.
So, South Beach, thank you for welcoming me and spreading your happiness into my bump life!

I agree 100%. I love the positivity, the humour, and the lack of drama. Also, the eye candy doesn't hurt!
I know this was a really cheesy thing to post, but I'm hoping that if lurkers from Parenting happen to read it, perhaps it will help lead us all to a place of mutual understanding.
