Hello ladies,
Just curious about hcg levels , I am 6w2d , yesterday got my bloodwork and hcg was 18895 , was wondering what other women's were at this far along ? Just curious
Mine was 6000 @ 16dpo, and 18000 @ 18 dpo, but there is only one baby in there (unless the other was hiding on our 5w 6d U/S), I don't think the figures matter, just that they double.
Diagnosed with Anti little c antibodies. DS1 7.11.11 - Anaemia and Jaundice. 10 days in the NICU, 1 exchange transfusion and 4 blood transfusions. DS2 29.8.13 - Anaemia 7 days in the NICU and 1 exchange transfusion. Both are now happy and healthy.
My HCG and progesterone levels have consistently been higher than the median rates for triplets. (My first test was out of the range for singletons by a long shot.) The dr. was certain that I would have more than one or a serious complication like a molar pregnancy.
I had my first u/s on Tuesday, and we have one, happy, little, dancing baby. We didn't even see an extra sac. My dr. was VERY surprised...especially because I needed progesterone suppositories for 14 weeks with baby #1. The dr. had a second ob standby for my appointment, and scheduled us after hours, so that he could spend the extra time with us that he felt may be necessary.
I wish you the best! We were excited at the possibility of twins, terrified at more than two or not having a viable pregnancy, but we are relieved and blessed to have one, who is healthy.
