All this pain and still at the same stage as last week. My 4th child and everything hurts more and takes longer. I thought for sure a little progress with all this pain, etc only to be at the same as last week. They will not strip my membranes because the hospital has changed the rules in the past year. Go figure. They won't do it until at least 40 weeks. Same with induction. All my other babies needed a little push. I guess it looks like the same with this one too. I was up half the night and couldn't even lay down it hurt so bad. Got up this morning and I could hardly walk. At this rate I might be bed-ridden by the time I can deliver. If I hurt this much now, what is it going to be like when I do deliver. I am starting to get discouraged. I also asked the Dr. about strep test and she said I tested positive (first time) and no one told me they found it in my urine at the beginning of my pregnancy and was never told. That explained why they never swab tested. Tried normal natural things to try to help encourage the little guy but he is being stubborn like the rest of kids. The effeacement seems to be the problem everytime. You would think by the 4th kid things would get easier/quicker but it is the opposite. Anyone know any natural proven things to maybe guide my little one in the right direction? Woke up from my nap with a sore throat. Great. My 2 boys have been driving me crazy too. One is not caring at all to pass 8th grade. My other has the mouth problem and grounding and other things I am able to do isn't working. I just feel a lot on my plate right now. I relax but I am still miserable. MY S/O is in his own World of Warcraft World. I exercise so I am mobile but this increasing pain lately is really bothering and Tylenol P.M. doesn't cut it. Dr. says it's probably pressure of how the baby os laying. Everything stat wise is fine.
Re: No progress. Ugh. Baby won't budge. Plus a little vent
If effacement is the issue... start using EPO (Evening Primrose oil) Vaginally. Insert everynight before you go to bed. I would use at least 1000mg.
Same here.
Sex, as horrible as it sounds right now, will help. It's the semen that you need to get on your cervix.
Other than that, try to do some relaxation every evening when the contractions start. Your body doesn't want to go into labor if there is tension and anxiety, so the more you relax, the easier it will be.
Have. Tried everything down to sex, basil/oregano, pineapple, evening primrose oil, raspberry leaf tea. Walking, squats, etc. Ugh
