Cleaning high chair straps!

I am a first time mom, but I have an in home daycare and HATE the highchair straps from two hand me downs and I found a recipeon Pinterest I think everyone needs to know about!!

1/4 cup of bleach, 1/8 cup of baking soda, and a squeeze of dawn dish soap....mix in a small bowl or container and scrub straps with an old toothbrush..my high chairs look amazing!!!

  • Thank you!!! I was just thinking this weekend I wish there was a way to wash them!
  • I'm thinking the bleach means it's only good for white straps??

  • My straps come out really easily.  I just throw them in the wash.

This.  You can also call the manufacturing company (Fisher Price in the case of our booster seat) and they'll send you a replacement set for a great price.  I believe it was less than $5.
