Re: question about omega 3 fatty acids
I'm new here and also 6 weeks pregnant:)
Between the research and talking to a pregnancy primal nutritionist, we should be eating 2-4 eggs a day- over easy or medium preferable.
As for Omega: our 6's and 3's should be 1:1 ratio. Americans eat tons of 6's which must of us needs to reduce- try eating salmon/chicken 3 days a week and small amount of fruit. Focus on coconut milk/ oil, butter and avocados. Its more important to maintain a good 1:1 ratio of 6's and 3's.
I agree with a lot of your advice, but pregnant women should really eat eggs that are fully cooked - the yolk should not be runny. As unlikely as it is, there is always the chance of getting salmonella from undercooked eggs. I love eggs over-easy, but I'll be eating them either hard-boiled or scrambled for the rest of my pregnancy.
