  My grandmother's "celebration of life" party is on Wednesday.  After the major disappointment that was my grandfather's Catholic mass/funeral, their 5 kids decided that they weren't going to do that for my grandmother.  She also indicated that she wanted us all to party.

  BOY DO WE PARTY!!  My grandparents had 5 kids and their kids all had kids.  Now, my generation has kids, too.  On top of that my grandmother's brother had 5 daughters and they all had kids and some of them have kids.  Plus, there are cousins and uncles and aunts and friends and OY!  

  Catered food and booze...  Damn!  This is going to be the best time I've had in a long time.

  tandb, that sounds SO fun!  I can't wait till summertime to get M back in the pool.  Unfortunately, I'll miss out on a lot of the swimming this summer since #2 is due in early June.  Boo, I love the pool.

  J&K, I love that your family is choosing to celebrate her life in that way, especially since it is what she wanted

   

  I'm also looking forward to Wednesday.  DH's car STILL isn't fixed, so we are stuck home M, T, Th mornings while he is at school.  Weather has been horrible, and we're going nuts in the house.  So Wednesday he has an afternoon class, which means M and I get to go out and run errands in the a.m., before her afternoon nap.

  Also, I'm sad because we're missing out swim class 2 weeks in a row. I love taking the girls to swim class - even though DD1 has graduated to "All by myself" vs "Mommy-and-me".
