good morning! I've been lurking for a while, i havent decided if I want to stick around. Ive seen some of the boards from 2012 and I dont know if the bump is right for me. I normally read August and September 2012 and I'm afraid i'll get attached to the girls on here and then we will turn into sarcastic Bs later on. August seems alright but Sept seems like a bunch of mean and lonely women bullying each other behind a computer

I guess the point of my post is....... do you think we will be like that a year from now? if so i don't think i will stick around.

I'm on the Feb birth month board and mostly everyone is friendly and gets along. I didn't join that board until my DD was three months old, so I don't know if there was drama beforehand but now everyone gets along. If its not for you then leave, I don't think you will necessarily get attached to internet strangers.

I can assume by all the hormones and whatever personal drama people are dealing with that there will be drama from time to time. I think everyone here so far is pretty respectful. We may not always agree, but I think for the most part we are respectful of the disagreement. You have a chance to get drama wherever you go when you are on any site like this. If it's not your cup of tea that's fine too. Or just join in the posts you want to.

We didn't turn into 'sarcastic Bs', that's how we started. We weren't all puppies and rainbows before popping out our kids, only to turn into miserable Internet bullies.

When support is needed, we have on hellofa supportive group, but if you say some stupid shiit, you'll hear about it.

Don't get all butthurt, it's just the Internet.

Honestly I haven't seen mean women on many of the boards here. at least not by internet standards.

To answer OP's original question, no not all BMBs are the same. If you're lucky, your board will be half as awesome as Sept. 12. Having Rora here will help ensure that. She'll make sure it's not all pandas and unicorn farts.

Thanks for the amazing replies ladies!!! Made my day! I knew I liked this board!!! As for the unicorns and panda farts and pooping on tables I say YESSS!! Are you ladies in my dreams cause I swear a glittery panda riding a unicorn came and pooped on my dinner table and in my husbands hair. Oh wait nvmd that was just what I was imagining as I tried to poop yesterday. Darn that constipation giving me delusions. Oh well maybe I'll shove some deli meat up my A I'm sure it'll help.
