DS's Class is Cancelled!

DS's Kindermusik class on Monday nights has just been cancelled due to low enrollment. The only other option is Thursday morning at 10 am when we are at work. I am seriously bummed right now!  DH wouldn't be able to attend again until March but that was our family night.Sad

    That's too bad! I wish they had something like that in my town.  I did find a reading group for babies at our local library.  I could also enroll her for Kindermusik in another town, but it would be a lot of work and cut into dinner time.  Maybe there is another class similar but not quite Kindermusik in your area?

    Maybe I should check in with the library and see what they have; that is a great idea! Our offerings are limited around here but I can probably check with Parks and Rec too. Hopefully we can find something else.

    Our rec dept has a ton of classes available. Currently DD is in a fun fit tots class. It is more like controlled chaos with balls and parachutes, but she loves it. I would check with your rec dept and see what is available.

    One of my friends takes her kids to an evening toddler gymnastics class.  It's basically running around and playing in a padded area.  They all love it!

    Thanks for all the recs ladies! I am going to check these out this week. Our last Kindermusik will be tonight. I saw that the library does have storytime at the same time as Kindermusik but I need to get more details about age group, etc. DH said that we could put DS in baby swim again in March so that is always another option.

    Another idea on top of the great ones mentioned is swim lessons.  Our local pool does them at night, and just think how well LO would sleep afterwards!
