What the what? Hell. I'll post a call out to the mod board and see if anyone knows what's going on.

Yep, yours is showing now! Back to edit for me...must have done something wrong.
Am I too late? I'm soaking my butt in the hottest water I can stand. I feel like I talk about hemmies a lot, but they are consuming my life right now.
I'm so sorry you've got them so bad. My SPD has me icing my vag 3x day with a bag of green beans. DH calls them "vagina beans" which must never be eaten or what on earth will I use to ice my vag?? Broccoli is too lumpy and corn doesn't stay cold long enough for the 20m I need it for.

Just sitting here with an ice pack between my legs...for the 4th day in a row. My OB said my pubic bone is loosening up and its basically like a dislocated joint. SO annoying. I'm enjoying all the nursery design talk. I'm so ready to start decorating.

Aww! :-( Sorry to hear that, it can't be the most comfortable thing. Does your Dr know any good remedies?
I should probably be a grown up and talk to him about it. I've been doing everything I know there is to do. Pooping is scary.
My dr tried to tell me they would go away on their own.
Well that's stupid. I still have left overs from pushing out the first kid 20 months ago.
The funny part is, it wasnt my MFM, it was some NP I saw when I first got it and had no idea what it was. She was all "that should clear up on its own".
ORLY? Cause it hasnt. And I didnt sh!t out a kid for it. I dont even get a cool story to explain it.

Yeah if you go into labor with one, you leave with 6. You get to push out 2 babies though, so you will have 12.

I may or may not have personal knowledge of the go-to hemmie treatment from compounding pharmacies. Ask your OB about a script for a 'rectal rocket', and if it's ok to use in pregnancy.
This whiz-bang invention is basically a suppository that is designed to be stored in your fridge and used cold, then gets inserted halfway (it's shaped like an hourglass). It's a mix of lidocaine, industrial strength preparation H, and a slow-acting topical steroid.
It won't get rid of the damn hemmies, but it sure shrinks them and makes them not hurt so damn much.
Cant.Stop.Laughing. at "rectal rocket"Cause im 12.
This is serious stuff! My butthole is protruding!
I'd laugh right along with you, but it makes my hemmies hurt.
I had to buy a giant box of tucks at Walgreens today and when the check out lady asked how I was doing, I glared at her. I felt bad after, but when someone is only buying hemorrhoid treatment, you should know how they are doing.
My key lime bars came out like garbage.nbsp; Guess thats what I get for being lazy andnbsp;using a mix.Guess Ill have to stop at the bakery on the way to our friends house, lol.

Honestly, I only have a small one, so baby powder and keeping the, um, "area", dry helps me.
Plus, since it burst it hasnt really irritated me like it used to. It just bleeds now if Im having a hard time going.
Hey Petra, what meds did they put you on for your HBP?
Methyldopa 250 mg 3xdaily. Recently reduced to 2xdaily due to side effects. BP is still holding in normal range.
They've got me on Labetalol 3x day for the tachycardia and it has dropped my BP from normal to hypo. When I picked it up from the pharmacy the pharmacist said "Oh you've got HBP?" to which I explained that it wasn't for that. He seemed confused. It has helped the tachycardia *some* I'm still in the low 100's at rest and can get up to the 140's with very minimal activity but I don't feel like my heart is going to beat out of my chest anymore.
Do your meds make you feel like crap for an hour or so after each dose?

Oh wow. I had to do some reading to check if it was an off-label use of labetalol. But, it's square on label. It's main use is to control HBP, but it has a reliable side effect of attenuating tachycardia (i.e. drawing everything out, like playing a tape in slow motion. How far into hypo have you dropped? Are you taking your BP a couple of times a day while you adjust to this med?
I'm running 95-110 for a resting heart rate, but when I walk up a flight of stairs it definitely feels like my heart is going to beat out of my chest. Methyldopa don't do squat to slow things down. But, it does a great job controlling labile hypertension. It doesn't make me feel crappy, but it does make me really sleepy, and if I'm on 3 doses a day, it makes me really fatigued. We cut back to twice a day when I would have to sit and rest three times during the effort to empty and fill the dishwasher. LOL
I bought a pretty highly rated wrist BP cuff and I use it upon waking, any time I feel "bad" during the day and then occasionally before bed. My BP has been anywhere from 77/45 to 93/57 for the last week. I called the OB and she says to just keep taking it... Considering calling the Cardiologist to f/u with her if this is acceptable during pg. I don't want to have any problems with IUGR or other blood flow related placental issues.
I totally feel you with taking breaks constantly while doing minor tasks. Sometimes I feel like I need a break from my break. LOL!
