I'm here! Just looking for fabric online to make an easy set of DIY crib skirts. Nothing fancy just something that looks like a crib skirt will be sufficient. I'm through trying to find a bed set I like. DIY faux skirts and white sheets for me please.

I'm using a Chevron print in our nursery for our little guy. Not really sure what's in or out anymore though...
I have no idea what chevron is, lol.
I just had a fun experience with my "morning" sickness that has returned with a vengence. Gotta love puking your brains out while also having a nose bleed at the same time, lol.
I thought 14 weeks of puking all day long was punishment enough. Now its back. FML.

H left for work a little while ago. I just finished making key lime bars for a g2g with friends tomorrow. My weekend nights are always boring since H runs a nightclub so he is always gone.

The nursery is about 90% finished as far as decor goes. I will take some photos tomorrow and bump them to get opinions for the skirt fabric. I really could just sit in there all day it makes me so happy. I'm measuring at about 30-32 weeks now so there's no way I could wait until the rest of you ladies are working on yours. I'd just be a big ball rolling around by then!

I'm annoyed because I have 24 hour staff duty tomorrow on post. Not happy about it, because there is nowhere to sleep tomorrow night, so I know I will be irritable on Monday when that work day starts. I already told my boss I am not planning to stay late afterwards.
We aren't allowed to do 24 hour duties after 28 weeks, so they assigned me this one right before the cutoff. Jerks.

I live in NC and we got released from work yesterday early because they mentioned the word snow in the weather. Granted it was cold, but nothing like what I am used to when we were stationed in upstate NY.
It's in the 40s in North Alabama right now. Supposed to be warmer tomorrow 50's-60's and on into Monday. Then rain, then 20's-30's.

Feel accomplished today, busted out the maternity pants and managed to hand hem them, so far I've only sewn buttons, lol.
Spent the evening with DD's friend and his parents. They made chicken piccata, so yummy
About to make some popcorn and catch up on Vampire Diaries:)

Here in the DC area, it's flipping cold (20s?) and flurries (but no big deal). I sent my husband skiing today and went out to dinner with a friend. We also watched Failure to Launch on Netflix. Now I need to find the energy to go brush my teeth and then make my little nest and go to sleep. I was exhausted an hour ago when I was driving home but I'm wide awake now. Go figure.
Tomorrow is another Bradley class (#4) so I should do my homework/reading for that at some point...and we really need to clean up all the papers that accumulate in the dining room.
I honestly love them both!
We've lived here for about 4 years after living in FL my whole life. I definitely love AL but miss things about FL too. We *almost* moved to Mountain View, CA this past summer but the deal fell through. Small world!
