Selling breast milk

Has anyone ever sold their extra breast milk? I had no idea this was done until someone mentioned it at a mom's night out. Where would you go you do this?

Most people donate their breastmilk. You can check with human milk for human babies or call your local NICU hospitals. A lot of NICUs prefer to only give breastmilk to preemies since it his healthier. I know there are a lot of NICU's looking for donations.

I thought selling it was illegal. I have donated through HM4HB and also through a Mom's group run by a IBCLC.
