Anyone cramping ?

Hey all ! So I was just wondering how many of you have or are experiencing some sort of cramping ?
Where ?
Intensity ?

Just want to see how it's going for the rest of you :

Re: Anyone cramping ?

  • I've been having some mild cramping accompanied by brownish spotting. Dr said it was fine until last night when it got a little worse and he put me on bed rest for the weekend. I'm a nervous wreck!

  • Oh Hun I'm sorry , at least you're taking care of it right away . I know women who went on bedrest similarly because of early spotting and cramping and their baby was fine ... Sometimes women have pregnancies they can do all sorts of things , run, exercize others have pregnancies that need a more relaxing calm environment and that's fine just need to be intune with how it is for you : don't worry , think about good things and most importantly prayer is key : wishing you the best !
  • Mild cramping is normal.

  • mild cramping is normal. spotting is also normal.

be concerned and go to a doc if the cramping is severe, with bleeding.

  • to me it seems like every time i have the cramping feeling i either need to fart lmao (been having problems in the bowl area) or it seems like my belly gets a little bigger bc the uterus is expanding to accommodate the little one inside...and mine seem to be in the intestine lower stomach area and nothing that hurts even when i dont have to fart it just feels like a fart pressure...sorry about all the farts lol
  • Yep definite cramping. It has become less intense and  less frequent, but I've noticed it happens mostly at night. It's usually just pulling and stretching, but sometimes it's a cramp across my entire abdomen. I've never had bleeding, but a little spotting that happens the day after the cramping. All normal according to my nurse midwife.

  • Yes. Almost everyday I have some sort of mild cramping. The doctor said it is very normal and not a concern unless there is bleeding too.

  • Yep cramping here almost everyday. Mostly feels like period cramping. You only need to be worried if it is accompanied by lots of blood, more than spotting ad if the cramps are a whole lot worse than your normal period ones.

  • I've had cramping too that started on the day AF was due (making me rush to the bathroom worried, since I had already tested positive). Sometimes it feels like period cramps and sometimes it's isolated sharp cramps, like the way ovulation pains feel for me. They've all been mild though, and didn't last very long. I even had some cramps after orgasm. No bleeding, they didn't interrupt my day at all, and nothing that required a Tylenol like my regular period cramps. They seem to have tapered off a bit now too. I'm at 5w2d.

  • I have cramping multiple times a day. It increases when I nurse. I also get extremely sharp stabbing pains when I stand up quickly, or Zoe sits on me funny.
  • I've had cramps the entire time. I had some slight relief for a few days but they are back today. I trust the Mom's feedback and haven't worried anything about it since they all say its totally normal. I find they are worse though when I am over tired or have stressed my body out.

  • Yes I had bad cramping the first 2 days after I found out I was pregnant. It would last maybe 10 min max and come and go every couple hours. My doc said its fine as long as its not accompanied by any heavy bleeding, and I haven't even spotted. Now the cramps are very mild and not often.
  • Mild cramping in my abdomin. No spotting though.
  • I have had some cramping since I missed my period, kind of an achiness down low, but today I have had some sharp pains up higher, like ovulation pain almost.  I am a runner but this week I have only ran once, then ran again today and it started after that.  So I am thinking maybe some round ligament pain from running today after not much all week? Who knows.

  • I have been cramping in the lower abdominal area and sting back pains. They say its normal its your uterus growing. I've been put on mostly bed rest while at home and light duty at work so I can only sit at a desk. I'm considered high risk though with PCOS and lower progesterone levels.
