We've unofficially decided on Eleanor for a girl. This may or may not be inspired by DH's love for the GT 500... I know, I know. It's shameful, but it's the best girl name that he could come up with, and I think it's lovely. I like Eleanor Roosevelt as well.
For MNs we're thinking Prudence. Jay's been in love with this name forever. If it comes down to it, she may end up being Prudence Eleanor.
Anyways, that's what's up, but it could end up being a moot point... DH's family only makes boys!!
Hank's got this amazing blonde fro. These two ringlets at the top remind me of NF because she's always using GIFs of Loki... he wears that headdress with the big fat horns on them.
That reminds me of an episode of Whose Line is it Anyways? They were playing the props in a box game. All of the props were hats.
One of them pulls out a mining helmet with the light. His line, "I'd take you out for drinks, but I'm a minor."
Another one pulls out a viking helmet and says, "I'm horny."
I hafta go say good-bye to my grandmother tomorrow. My sister called yesterday to tell me that the hospice worker said she wouldn't make it much longer, and my mom called today to say that they're convinced of the same.
I told my grandmother when last I saw her that I'd make her some brownies. I will make them tonight and bring them to her tomorrow. My mom says that she's not eating. Hopefully, she'll eat a couple bites of my brownies.
This is going to be really, really hard for my family. She is the last of this generation. My dad, my aunts and uncles and their cousins... it's going to be heartbreaking.
Thanks for the sympathy, ladies. My dad has been really calm about this. I'm using him as a barometer for how I'm going to react. I've never seen my dad cry. My mom says he did when his dad died, but I never saw it. As long as my dad can keep a brave face in front of me, I'll be alright.
I'm trying to wait patiently for everyone to be home so we can eat as a family, but I've been sampling dinner as I made it and I REALLY want to eat now.

*joins in the impatient foot-tapping*
I'm sampling the stew now. Otis is hungry and he's eating carrots and beef. I don't think we'll be eating as a family tonight!!
I am currently in possession of 4 cribs. Otis' crib is in use in his room fully assembled (obviously). The other 3 are in pieces in the garage. I'm having a new money-making hobby. I'm sanding down old cribs, replacing hardware, sprucing up and repainting in WAY cuter colors (organic paints no less). And re-selling them.
So far, I'm not thrilled with my sander. I need rougher sand paper (like, the paper I'm using is too fine a grit).

such a great idea for making some extra money! do you get the cribs for cheap?
Yeah. One of them was one that my friend was getting rid of -- free. The other two I bought for $20 apiece delivered to my door.
So far, I'm in it the $40 (plus the $50 I paid for Otis' brand new) and the cost of my sander. I've been eyeing some paints but haven't pulled the trigger since I'm not done sanding. I just started on Monday.

DD1 liked 3/4 of her fish, all of her sweet potatoes and most of her green beans. DD2 didn't like ANY of it, little butt. Stepdad scarfed it down like he was starving. Mom liked everything but the sweet potatoes, and made up for not eating them by helping herself to a second serving of fish.
Re: GUUUUUYYYYYSSSS
I'm on mobile and lazy and grouchy. I'm not going to look back. Ha.
What are you having for din din?
