  Under the arm. My temporal forehead one doesnt seem to work right. I hope she can hold a regular digital in her mouth soon.

  We have a Braun ear thermometer and really like it.  If I need to be exact though I still use the rectal.

  Exergen Temporal (forehead) Thermometer. Worth every cent! The under the arm ones take forever to beep to say they are done and my DD never wants to keep her arm held down. The ear one is slightly better than that but most of the time when my DD has had fevers, it is because she has an ear infection so I don't want to be using that if her ear hurts.
