Mini van f/u

We're bringing home our 2010 Dodge Caravan tomorrow :) I'm actually really excited. We test drove a bunch of vans this week but ultimately decided to stick with Dodge. The interior styling is very similar to my caliber, and I do love the sto and go seats. What really decided it for me was being able to push a button, the door opens, and in goes baby with no bending, lifting, climbing, ect. Our boxer however, is terrified of the automatic doors. Go figure.

My best friend laughed at me. But, she doesn't have kids nor does she want them.

thanks! It was so easy to put the baby in, and DH is actually comfy. Win-win. Except for cleaning out my car when it's -8. BRRRR!!!!

  • I had to sell my Caliber to get our mini van when we found out we were having twins, omg do I miss that car!!! I also have a dodge caravan and the storage and automatic doors are great, but my Caliber was so nice.

  • We have a 2011 Toyota sienna. I was firmly in the "I'll never have a minivan" crowd.

I love everything about it. 2 rear facing carseats and a double stroller wouldn't have fit in my old sedan.

I'm going to check out the Sienna. I have a Dodge Journey and hate it. I will never buy another Dodge. Sorry, Toni!!.

We are a Dodge family - but DH refused to get a Journey. He said it was no bigger really than my car.

I know, it was my first "big-girl" car that I bought at a dealership and everything. I'll be sad to see it go, but not sad to have to try and stuff the stroller in the back anymore.

Thanks :) I can't wait to go pick it up after work today. I might even leave early so I convince DH we need to go to Traverse City and go out to dinner to celebrate!

That was another thing, my double stroller didn't even begin to fit in the back! It was my first brand new big girl car too :)
