Maybe this is dating me but do you remember when cartoons were only on Saturday mornings and there were only a few sitcoms/TV shows on every night? I do not think we got cable until I was at least in 3rd grade. Now I feel like there are 500 different kid's shows on TV compared to just a handful when we were growing up.
What were your favorite shows when you were younger?
As a young child: The Smurfs, Muppet Babies, Pee Wee's Playhouse
A little older: Saved by the Bell, Family Ties, Full House, Growing Pains, The Cosby Show, Double Dare (I watched that at my neighbor's house since they had Nickelodeon).
Re: Favorite TV shows of the 80's and 90's
Blossom
Boy meets world
Fragle rock
Star Trek TNG
Sesame Street
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Wishbone
Buffy
All That
The Secret World of Alex Mack
I forgot about Blossom. I loved that show. My dad did not like me watching it for some reason. He felt it was too mature, I have no idea why.
Awww....the good ole days!
I liked The Smurfs, Tom & Jerry or anything Looney Tunes when I was a young kid. Rugrats?! I loved that one on Nickelodeon.
A little older I loved Saved by the Bell, Full House, Boy Meets World, pretty much everything on Nickelodeon. Legends of the Hidden Temple! I so wanted to be on that show. I liked Blossom too. What were some of the TGIF shows? Remember that??

Ahh! I forgot about that show! I wanted to be Alex Mack.
OMG...Legends of the Hidden Temple! We watched that all the time when I was a kid. I always wanted to be on the Blue Barracudas. We also watched this dorky show that I think was on PBS. Ghostwriter. Pretty sure I can still sing all of the lyrics to the theme song.
When I was really little it was all about Fraggle Rock and Scooby Doo.
I was only alive for two years of the 80's...
Boy Meets World, Full House, Fresh Prince, Alex Mack, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
SCANDAL!
