terminated rights

Bd recently signed over his rights. It's exactly what I want and for the best but part of it still hurts that he was so quick to do it no questions asked. Has anyone ever experienced that?

    He signed over legal custody, or his parental rights were terminated?

    I had my son's bio-dad's rights legally terminated and my (now) ex-husband adopted my son. fast forward less than 2 years later, and ex-husband decided he didn't want to be a dad anymore, it was too hard for him (dbag).

    He hasn't seen my son in almost 2 years, and while a part of me knows it's best for my son to not have these asshats in his life; it breaks my heart when he cries and says he misses his dad (ex-husband). I know, long term, that he is better without that negative influence, but it still tears your heart up when they ask why daddy isn't there. It doesn't hurt me, personally, that he isn't around. What hurts is that his actions hurt my baby boy, and for that I will always detest the man.
