Koulter is a family name? I am used to seeing it Coulter (like Ann Coulter)... and that evil woman would make me steer far away from tnat name.
K names are hard. I would suggest looking at names that are traditionally spelled with a K like Kenneth, Kyle, Kai, Kellan, Keegan, etc.
Avoid names like Karter, Konnor, Kraig, etc. Those just look plain gross.

I agree, especially with the bolded. Replacing c with k in words is generally a cutesy thing to do. If you are shooting for masculine, cutesy is not what you're looking for, and that's aside from the spelling nightmare your kid is going to have to face every. single. time he has to spell his name for every sane English-speaking person who expects a C where you justforthehellofit decided to put a K. Koulter is just not good in any way, sorry.

My fiancee has a son named Kaden, so we are thinking about K names as well. We like K names and we also already have a K name in the family from his son. A name we are seriously considering that you don't hear too often is
Kashius usually spelled Cassius
It's not too popular and it's not feminine either.
And here's a few others:
Kaden is also a good K name.
Kadence
Kaysen
Kyron
Kip

I think this is typically a girls name, but I also think its too masculine sounding for a girl. It was on our boys list once upon a time. Karrigan

Oh for all that is good in this world, don't name your kid this.
This was my first thought as well.
I like Kenneth and Kevin. I do know an adult named Kyler and it suites him.
