Anyone else Seeing sparkles???

It just sat down at my desk and went to look for something. All of a sudden I started seeing like glitter or sparkles in my line of vision. It probably lasted for less than a minute but has never happened before. My doctors office doesn't open till 11. Is this something I should worry about or yet another weird but normal pregnancy symptom. Oh and I am in my 24th week

::Raises hand and waves:: I am totally seeing stars, at least once every few days. I can't correspond it with any particular activity...like when I'm out of breath or something...sometimes it happens while I'm just sitting at my desk!

The sparkles are kinda pretty, though...

That happens to me every once in a while- prepregnancy and now. It's pretty random for me; I don't understand any type of pattern or certain circumstances for when it happens.

Happened to me last thursday while I was driving. Normally for me its an indication that my blood pressure is low but having just come from the dr. and knowing what my blood pressure was unless it dropped suddently in 20 min for no reason wasn't the case that time.

If you want peace of mind contact the dr. when the office opens but I don't think its a major issue.

I've had that happen before but my vision was shimmery for 1015 minutes. I think it ended up being a ocular migraine.

It happens and I don't think its a major issue. For me anything can trigger it..going up stairs, standing up too quickly, walking too fast.

Happens to me plenty, prepregnancy too. I just also get dizzy and faint feeling with it so once I start to see them I know I need to sit my butt down unless I want to be waking up laying on the ground.

I have had this happen to me since I was 14. The first time it happened, I was on a missions trip in Mexico and hadn't been drinking enough water. So now when I see them, I take it as my go-to sign that I need more water.

I mentioned this at my last appointment just because it had been happening so frequently. They asked what color the stars were and I said gold/silverish. They didn't mention anything else about it. I *think* there's more of a problem if you start having black spots in your vision, but I'm not sure. My OB didn't seem concerned with mine.

Happens to me too...my neighbor who is a nurse says that it is most likely dehydration....drink up!

Adding my voice to the chorus. It's happened to me on and off for years and has happened more frequently just recently (just earlier today actually). As with other PP, it's usually for me some combo of not having eaten recently, standing up too quickly or bending over while standing. I've never been too worried about it.
