  My mom had my bridal shower at Wildfire on Higgins 6 years ago and I hosted a 60th birthday lunch for her there 3 years ago. Unless something has drastically changed, their lunch price is only about $20 pp and includes 2 starters, a salad, 2 entrees, 2 sides and 2 desserts all served family style. It also includes all soft drinks, water, iced tea, lemonade..everything but alcohol. Their private room is very nice.  It's a really good value for the money.  

  What about Coopers Hawk? Either the new one at Algonquin and Golf or the one by the Arboretum in South Barrington?  This would most likely be the most expensive.

   Colletti's in Arlington Heights (on NW Hwy) might also have a private room and they have good food.

  I went to a shower at Francesca's Tavola in Arlington Heights.  It was cute and the food was good!

  I think Anna Shea's Chocolate lounge would be an adorable place for a shower!  I think you can reserve all or half of the lounge area and pay per hour or half hour.  From what I hear, you can bring in food, but you're not allowed to serve anything that they have on their menu (e.g, cupcakes, cheese & crackers).  It is also in the Arboretum in South Barrington.
