9 month old grinding teeth?

My almost 9 month old son grinds his teeth in the morning when he wakes up. He started this yesterday. When should i be concerned? Is this normal?

    I'm intersted in what others have to say. My 8mo also grinds her teeth in the morning and I'll sometimes catch her doing it throughout the day. I plan on asking her pedi but she doesn't have another appointment for another month.

    Hello :) My son started doing that at 7 months once he got all of this front teeth. I think it is bc they discover their teeth, something new is all. I wouldn't worry :)

    My baby does this, too.  I asked my dentist about it at my last cleaning and he said it was totally normal and not much you can do about it.
