Crazy Lady

BM2/BD's XGF created a FB page that was impersonating me. I found out several days ago and reported it to FB, the page has since been removed. BD confirmed today that it was her who created the page, and we seriously have no idea why she did it, other than that she's crazy.

Seriously, thank the Lord BD did not marry this girl and that she not my DS's SM.

Honestly, I would contact your local police department.  There are now laws / case law on the books regarding this type of identity theft.  Not all jurisdictions have caught up to the social media identiy theft, but you never know if yours has.

At the very least, having a paper-trail cannot hurt you, especially if you find out that BM2 or her husband (who is a parent in your SS's home) had anything to do with it.

    I agree with this.

I find it very disturbing that she would take the time to make a fake account for you.  I would be thinking about what else she is doing that you haven't found out about yet.

  • I have a DS with BD and a DD with DH. I don't have any SK's.

BM2/XGF is BD's XGF, who he has a DD with.

When I saw it I was appalled and immediately reported it, and the page immediately disappeared. I didn't realize it would immediately disappear, and I don't have any screen shots or any evidence of the page. I am keeping tabs on if she does this again, and will report to the local police department if she does.
