First u/s update!
We had our first appointment and u/s today. Went through all the questions, peed in a cup, blah blah blah. All the normal stuff. OB pulled out the machine to get a view of the baby, check the heartbeat, and make sure my due date was on track.
Well, surprise! We have 2 babies in there! We are so shocked. Twins. I don't even know anyone personally who has twins. Both have beautiful heartbeats and measured 6w6d and 6w5d. I have never been more surprised in my entire life. I son't even know what is next. My OB did say something about setting up an appointment with an MFM doctor. I am just in total shock.

Wow! How exciting! Did you have any symptoms that you were having twins?
There was another person on the board who had the same thing happen to them.
I bet you are double excited!
Are these your first children?
I just had normal pregnancy symptoms. Nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing that I would expect to lead up to having twins.
We had a second trimester loss with our first son, and DH has a daughter from a previous relationship.
