I'm a late bloomer??

Am I the last one to start working out post baby? I start my les mills Combat tomorrow I can honestly say I have not tried at all since getting pregnant to stay in shape.

I just hope I can stay focused lol

  • Over the holidays, I brought my workout clothes to my parents with the intention of working out. That's as close as I've come. We walk everywhere but that's clearly not good enough cause I've got 17 lbs left of baby weight and another way too many of just being fat. 

    Maybe when DD starts napping longer than 20 min, I'll consider it.

  • Good luck! My cousin teaches that class in Lansing. She said it kicks her butt. I started out snowshoeing but then the snow melted for a while and I got lazy.

  • Not at all.  I started exercising in mid-November, only to stop once I returned to work on December 10th.  I have not picked it up since.  I'm too tired to even consider it!

  • I just started trying to get back in the workout routine only got to once a week so far which is sad because i could do it everyday but too lazy too so ya im going to get far with my once a week workouts (say this sarcastically)

     Yes it's a beast I used to take the class pre-pregnancy at the gym but this is going to be tougher since it will be everyday and at home. lol!

     Wow snowshoeing thats one hell of a work out.

    It is but it's fun and I have to trick myself into working out. If I try to workout at home I always make an excuse not to. Keep us updated, maybe I'll have to try it.

  • I haven't started either and this chub needs it. I was quite fluffy before pregnancy and would like to not be that bad again. Maybe tomorrow will be the lucky day.

  • I'm just now starting to do some stuff. We had a girl come to Mommy and Me to show us how to exercise with our baby. Nola loves sitting on my stomach for crunches!!

  • um no. Unless you count carrying LO around I haven't started working out regularly AT ALL.  Hopefully I'll get the motivation (and time) before beach season comes.

  • Yeah...no.  I haven't started working out.  I have no clue when I'd even do it.  I commute about 2.5 hours a day...then I have to do the nighttime routine: Dinner, Bath, bottle, Bed...and I'm also doing 2 Certification courses online.... lol.  Working out just doesn't fit into my schedule.    I only have about 10lbs to lose and I'm really in no hurry to lose the weight as much as I am wanting to lose the flab. 

    I'm already dreading swimsuit season.  And, I'm pissed because I know by the time I get in shape...all the cute suits will be gone.  lol.. FWP, for sure.

    Same here. Two miles walked at lunch, however, does not erase the amount of food I eat. Tongue Tied
