So poor DD had a rough night with DH while I was at work, cried and cried, poor hubby didn't know what to do. The she let out 3 huge farts and was good to go lol. I think it's because I had onions in dinner the night before, or would she have been gassy in the morning? I'm scared to eat onions again! Is there anything you ladies have to avoid for LO?
Re: BF mamas...what can't you eat?
I made the mistake in indulging in some authentic Mexican food with hot green sauce. LO was not too pleased.
He gets really gassy when I eat pretty much any veggie but not to the point where it seems painful.

According to Kellymom.com, most foods shouldn't cause an issue. https://kellymom.com/parenting/parenting-faq/gassybaby/
That being said, I could not eat broccoli with DS - definitely noticed a pattern of extreme discomfort in him every time I would eat broccoli and cutting it out eliminated the problem.
If I have a lot of dairy (cheese in particular) it REALLY bothers DD2. stops her up for several days. That only happened twice before I figured it out! Felt like the worst mom ever.
She gets a little gassy when I have broccoli, but nothing a few gas drops can't fix!
DS has gas like crazy but the only thing I've found that make it really bad are Mexican, cajun food, peppers, and onions.

Gas is a product of the chemical reaction that occurrs when your stomach acid breaks down a particular food. Your body breaks it down and absorbs or excretes it. The milk is made by its own process.
