I posted yesterday about knowing when the right time to sleep train was. I have had the Sleep Easy book for a few months but was waiting to try it.
After months of very bad sleep I took the plunge last night and tried it. He only cried off and on for 24 minutes. I did a dream feed at 9:45 he went right back down and fussed for LESS than 5 minutes. This is a huge victory for us because it was taking a hour to get him back down after he ate at night.
I was supposed to wake and feed him one hour before he normally wakes up which would have been at about 1:00 a.m. but my alarm didn't go off. So DS woke up at 2:30 a.m. I fed him and put him back down and once again in less that 5 minutes he was out again. He slept until 7:30 a.m. and woke up happy. The past 3 weeks we have been having 5:30 a.m. wake up times no matter what I tried.
I am probably jinxing myself by saying how wonderful it was haha. But this momma is feeling good after getting some much needed sleep and having a happy baby
I should also add that he had been waking up every hour or two at night with no long stretches of sleep. Hoping for good results tonight too!
