We head into the hospital tonight at 5pm to start the induction! I expect LO to arrive on Friday, at 37w exactly!!! Thanks for all thoughts and prayers throughout my bed rest and as we welcome our newest family member!

I had my anatomy scan today and everything is looking good. They also checked my cervix length and it is nice and long at 5 cm! Fingers crossed it stays long and I can have a full term baby.

Got my first Makena shot yesterday from hubby. It was not nearly as bad as I had anticipated. The site stung for a while after, but nothing I could really complain about. Super nervous about MaterniT21 results...not because there is a real reason to. It's just the way I am. I have to worry about everything.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you! Glad the shot didn't hurt that bad. Did your OB tell you that you can alternate injection sites every week? I actually got my shot in my hip (only once in my butt, by the OB) and every week we changed sides.
Thanks! They did tell us about switching sides which I am happy about. The shot was a lot closer to my hip which I was also happy about since I thought it was going to be on my bottom and that I wouldn't be able to sit! :-)
I had my first cervical length check. Everything looked great and i measured 4.0cm. Our anatomy scan and next cervical length check is scheduled for 2 weeks.
I also had my first 17P injection on Thursday from a home health nurse. I was really nervous because I tend to get faint around needles, but my home health nurse was awesome. I didn't have any issues at the injection site but I did experience terrible hot flashes, mild cramping and nausea the next day. Which was not fun since I had to be at a work conference all day.
Any one else experience similar side effects (hot flashes, nausea or cramps)?
