  • I am so sorry (((HUGS)))

Here's the newest thing Jayden does, that cracks us up! He is delayed in speech and only knows a few words, but tries SO HARD to communicate, so when he sees that you have something he really wants he comes directly into your face and says "Hiiiiii!!!" and then if that doesn't work he will yell out every word he knows to see which works!

"Hiiiii!! Ball? Car?? Momma! Dayeee!! Eat! Please! Thank you!"

  • oh no! I'm so sorry!

DD told me I look like an old lady yesterday. I'm sure someone would find that funny, not I.

  • I am so sorry for your loss.

DD just learned the word motorcycle and uses it at every opportunity, including in the grocery store. She saw an old woman on a motorized scooter and was yelling "Motorcycle!" and waving at this lady. Good thing DD is a little hard to understand!

She also says "Bless you" whenever you sneeze, and will continue blessing you 900 times until you say thank you.

  • big ((hugs)) to you too.

M likes to "take your nose" and oftentimes she'll "throw it away."  we're playing this game for a little bit and i asked for my nose back.  she puts her hand under her leggings (on her lower calf) and proudly tells me that my nose was "in her leg" and she puts it back on my face.

  • Huge, huge hugs to you. I'm so sorry.

DDs new phrase is "oh, man". It comes out more like "aw, maaaa" because she drags a LOT of her words. Still, it's freaking hilarious to actually hear it. She also now says "poppy" (my dad), but it's Boppy..yeah, dad didn't get that she was referring to him until I told him. Oh and she calls her FP Zoo Train Zebra Bob. I have no clue, but she says Bob and points to the zebra. I'm sure there's much funnier out there. Oh, she was afraid of the Christmas tree when we put it up yesterday...that was a bit entertaining.

  • Oh no!  I'm so sorry...(((HUGS)))

Yesterday DD was having a conversation on her toy phone....to whom, I'm not sure.....most of it was unintelligible, but it was still amusing to hear what she considered important enough to share to someone in a phone conversation.  It went something like this:

"HELLO! babble babble babble WATCH THE WIGGLES babble babble jibber jabber ABBY GOES WOOF WOOF jibber jabber PAPA'S PHONE babble babble EAT ENCHILADA....OKAY, BYE!"

    Fascinating, huh?

  • (((hugs)))

    I'm sorry.

Here's my funny DD story.  She does this version of "up on the housetop" complete with motions/dance moves that our nanny taught her...but her brain doesn't think as fast as her body or something, so it comes out all disconnected and funny.  I really need to post it on youtube.  Basically imagine her making a "roof" gesture above her head, then a second later singing "up on teh housetop".  then Jump and hands out in front of her...a second later "Reindeer paws!'  Etc, etc.  HILARIOUS.
