Hello! So I'm just curious, I've heard that FTM's usually go past their due dates, then I've heard from others that they go early! I know it isn't something you can predict (unless you have a scheduled c-section) but just out of curiosity, how many of you went late, and how many went early, if you don't mind sharing.
Re: STM - Did you deliver early or late?
3 days late
But IMO, that was the due date I had in my head, because I was charting and I knew my luteal phase was 3 days longer than average (OB's office used LMP for my due date).
10 days early with my first.
However, it's possible this was due to excess stress on my system from severe indigestion that my bum of a doctor ignored and told me "just take Tums" when I complained (about throwing up acid every night no matter what I ate or even if I ate, and losing 4lbs in a week at 37 weeks. Ahem, anyway...)
3 weeks early but I had pre term labor and a short cervix
11 days late with my 1st, and it was horrible. On my due date, I had gained 30 lbs exactly and had NO stretch marks. Flash forward 11 miserable days and I had gained an extra 20 lbs of water weight and had stretch marks everywhere...
I was induced 4 days early due to high blood pressure with #2 and it was a much better experience!
Oh no! I'm so glad that your second pregnancy was a better experience!
I have three different due dates, never got an early ultrasound that would be reliable enough for dating, and never had regular cycles before. So I'm claiming roughly five weeks of potential "due dates" just to keep my expectations low... :-)
DD1 was 10 days late and ended up being born via c/s after failure to progress.
DD2 was going to be an attempted VBAC as long as I went into labor before my due date. She was born via RCS at 2 days late.
Charlotte Ella 07.16.10
Emmeline Grace 03.27.13
Laboring on my due date, had him the next day.
BFP(4) DD2 born 2.14.13 @ 35w5d due to pPROM
DD #2 - 03.13
I delivered at 40 w 4 d.
Here are the due dates of my little one's and when they actually came.
Oliver July 18th DD, born June 27th
Simone November 11th DD, born October 23rd
Francesca April 18th DD, born April 3rd
All babies were born over 6 pounds and healthy. Frankie had a heart issue, but that was obviously not bc of her being born when she was.
Derek - February 2013 Caelyn April 2011
37 weeks with my first and 39 with my second.
