Soda, especially diet coke. Although this is a good time to see if I notice any benefits from eliminating soda. If weren't pg I don't think I could be disciplined enough to give up diet coke.
Sashimi. I miss fresh, cold sashimi. When we go out to sushi now I stick with cooked rolls and it seems to satisfy the sushi craving, but I know when it gets hot I am going to miss that sashimi.
I am still eating fish (cod, salmon, tilapia, albacore tuna). My doctor said those are fine as long as they are cooked. We eat fish about 1/week so I was happy to hear that.
Right now I feel so nauseous that it's like being hungover - so I am not missing booze.
I think in 2nd tri when I'm feeling better I will miss it though - especially on our trip to Ireland!
If I was going to Ireland, I'd be missing beer, too! And I'd probably have a Guinness because I'd want one. But I also don't generally miss booze. And especially at the start!

Luckily I was already vegan and not a coffee/soda drinker before getting pregnant so I didn't have to really give up anything other than booze. Kind of missed it Saturday when I was out with friends and they were drinking. Now I know how my husband feels when I'm drinking and acting like a fool (he doesn't drink at all)...and it sucks! :-p

Diet Mt. Dew! I would normally drink 2-3 a day, but am trying very hard to not drink any. But, I do occasionally have one. I have bought some Caffeine Free, but I am trying not to drink much of that either so I haven't opened it yet.

Oh my gosh, me too!!! This, and coffee. I got a beautiful new coffee grinder for Christmas to go with the gorgeous espresso machine that I'd waited years to buy... now it's just sitting on my counter, looking pretty. Haha.

I will definitely be having a taste of some authentic Irish Guinness!
Cold medicine!!!! And the double-bummer is that since I'm planning to breast feed, it's going to be about a year and 8 months until I can have some....so germy people stay the eff away!!!

And maybe some non-alcoholic beer to "fit in."
I know in the old days they used to give pp mums a Guinness right after delivery to boost their iron and other minerals lol! Also to boost their happiness?

Good call. I guess I'll need a few sips for my vitamins and minerals! lol

It helps bring in your milk!
I'd have a Guinness in Ireland. Women in Europe drink through their pregnancies. But some people aren't comfortable with even a drop, which is ok.
One of my favorite things to order when out on a date with DH is steak - but I like it medium rare. The idea of ordering red meat medium-well or well-done makes me sad! Would rather not have it at all!
I'm only found out about 5 days ago, but I was prepared to miss wine more. I give up drinking altogether for months at a time when I'm training (when not preggers, I compete athletically) but those first few days when it is "off the menu" always seem to mentally be the hardest. Though it just hasn't bothered me at all since finding out. Wonder if that will change....hope not!
Not much. I'm so thankful to be pregnant again that I haven't really thought about what I'm missing out on.
We booked a trip to Hawaii before we knew I was pregnant and we leave in a week. I'm a little sad that I won't get to enjoy tropical cocktails or the raw sushi. I guess it's virgin drinks and cooked sushi for me (I known raw fish can be safe, but it's not worth it to me to take the chance).

Yep, it is supposed to help with milk. I drank it PP for that reason (oh, and because I love it). It may have helped some, it was hard to tell.

Sushi, wine, and my daily 4-shot Americano from Starbucks. :-(

Draught Beer and Dr. Pepper.
I am sure I will miss my philly rolls soon, but pretty much any roll with cucumber, avocado, and cream cheese will do for me cooked or not.
Since I've known for a whopping 5 days that I'm PG, so far it's just my daily Monster in the morning (I'm not a coffee drinker).
I know I'll start missing my wine soon though...
I miss drinking, but not as much as I thought I would, but then again, it's only been a few weeks!
I especially miss it when we go out to dinner-I really enjoy sharing a bottle of wine with the hubs over dinner.
I also miss my crunch spicy tuna rolls when we go for sushi....
