AW: Sweet Babies

This morning Skyler woke up at 5:01am so DH went to grab her and lay her in our bed in hopes that she would go back to sleep. She fell asleep and woke up at about 7:10am. She opened her eyes and I smiled at her, she smiled the sweetest cutest smile, rolled over, put her arm around my neck, breathed a sigh of relief and closed her eyes back. It was like she was saying "Oh, mommy's here everything is okay now." It nearly brought tears to my eyes. I brought her in the kitchen by DH and she reached for him and gave him two big hugs as well. She usually cries when DH tries to take her from me in the morning, so I think it made him feel great as well. After that she was all hugs all morning and I enjoyed every second of it.
Moments this sweet don't happen everyday and I try to cherish them when they do. What has your LO done lately that has melted your heart?

When I lay on the floor to play with DS, he will come and stand by my torso, bend over, and lay his head against my stomach. He won't stay that way long, but he'll look at me and just smile while I rub his head.
The other thing is picking him up from daycare. When I walk in the door he'll try to run to me, but will end up crawling because it's faster and will stand there with his arms in the air until I scoop him up. I love the smile on his face when I pick him up!

Hadley does this now too! And the hugs ... oh my goodness, they melt my heart.

The DCP told me yesterday that one of the new little babies in the room was crying and she couldn't get to him cuz she was changing a diaper. DD crawled over, patted him on the head, and gave him a sloppy kiss. I about melted when she told me that.
More personally, I had to wake DD up for daycare today (usually she's already awake) and she was so sleepy and snuggly. She buried her face in my neck and held on while I carried her downstairs. I definitely melt every time she does that.
DD has been very snuggly and lovey out of nowhere lately. She loves to give hugs and kisses to us as well as her stuffed animals. But the best is when she's playing independently and I'm just laying around somewhere in the room. After awhile, she will just randomly come crawling over and if I'm laying down, she will snuggle right on top of me. If I'm sitting, she just goes in for a big hug. I love it. I love when she stops what she's doing and decides on her own to be affectionate. She's been so sweet lately!
Oh Skyler does this too. And she blows raspberry's on my face, she even holds my face in place so she can give me as many kisses as she wants. My face is usually dripping after, but I love it.
At daycare when she gets dropped off, her little friend Hailey who is about 16 months comes up to her gives her a hug and a lego. As to say "How are you today, let's play" it is soo cute!
OMG this is so cute! I keep trying to picture DD doing something like this when the new baby comes. She always gets very concerned when she hears other kids crying when we're in public. What a sweet girl you have!

Sometimes when I'm laying down he'll lay with me and roll over to let me cuddle him. It's so adorable.
These are all so sweet!
My boys have been getting a little more independent with their playing and sometimes they'll laugh and play together for 30-45 mins. The sweet part is that they'll each decide at some point in the midst of their playing that they need some cuddles. They'll just stop what they're doing, turn and crawl over to me, and crawl up in my lap. They'll sit there snuggling for 5 minutes or so and then they're off to play some more!
There's two to kiss, Two to hug, And best of all, Two to Love!
