  • That does seem kind of young, but nothing is impossible. And yes, you can freeze the teethers.

  • My LO was an early teeths and got her first 2 teeth by 4 1/2 months.  They make these chewthers which look like a cross between a teether and a mouthguard.  I got LO a toy at Target which is like washcloth material w/ little knots on it.  YOu ccan give it to them as is or get it wet, wring it out and freeze it.

  • Nope not too early at all. Joey started teething even earlier than 2.5 months. I was told that teeth don't actually pop through until a few months later though.

As for freezing the teethers, check the packaging. Some you can freeze, some say not to.

  • I read in that Baby 411 book that drooling doesn't necessarily mean teething.  Supposedly babies start to drool more because they are preparing to be able to eat and digest solid foods?  Not sure how true it all is, but definitely interesting.
  • I don't think so. My ds started drooling like crazy around then and had teeth about a month later.

  • Our ped told us yesterday DD will probably start cutting her teeth next month, month a half. She's got that lovely drool rash on her chin too and constantly has to chew on something lol
