Any ideas on how I might involve my girls (ages 2, 4 & 6) in a gender reveal to us (my husband and I)? Meaning, I'm not talking about a party... I mean, have you guys heard any cute ways for the kids to be the ones to tell the parents the coming baby's gender? My 4 and 6 year old can read the words 'boy' or 'girl.' So I'm thinking I could have the tech right down boy or girl and put it in an envelope and then our girls could tell us over dinner maybe? Or what are other ways people have the tech designate the gender but to be revealed at a later time? PInk vs. blue onesie? I don't want to do the balloon thing. Nothing too bulky/labor intensive.
Honestly looking for ideas. Our girls are SUPEREXCITED for this baby and it's planned to be our last so I'd like to let them be involved a bit more this time.

Our friends with a 4yo daughter just had the tech put the information in an envelope. The tech didn't tell them at the appointment and just marked on the u/s whether the baby was a boy or a girl. That way they could find out, together, with their daughter to find out if she was going to have a little brother or sister.
I have a girlfriend who had a baker make cake pops... blue or pink on the inside. (tech wrote the sex down, baker got to look at the envelope.) You could even make it easier and just bake an entire cake dyed either pink or blue.

I want to do something similiar to this with me and DH opening the box (with DS helping) to use as our FB "announcement". We have a family friend who is a photograhper and I plan on reaching out to her to see if she'll take the photos.
Pinterest should have other ideas too, you'll just have to modify them.
We plan on doing the same
I this it's adorable!
