Weird dreams...?

Hi all!

So I have not been to the doctor yet, but I am estimating that I am just about 7 weeks along. The other night I had a crazy dream that I was having a "phantom pregnancy". Which is even more strange because my husband and I were not trying and the pregnancy was a surprise. I took an at home test then went to our on base clinic [were military] and had a blood test done. Both came back positive. Now I am sure it is just my brain messing with me, but is it possible for both the urine and blood test to come back positive with a phantom pregnancy? I would write it off as some stupid dream but my best friend is due in two weeks so I have been super excited to be an aunt to her baby and thought for a second that my mind could be really messing with me. Any thoughts?

    I'm confused.  Did you PHYSICALLY get those tests done, or were they done in your dream?

    If you actually had the tests done and they came back pregnant, then you are in fact pregnant.  Your body can't "fake" that.

    You have to have the hormone of a pregnancy to test positive so you can't will a test to be positive just because you're excited for your friend

    lol sorry to clarify, yes i had those tests done in real life. and thank you. I know it sounds silly, but it is just one of those really life-like dreams that kind of sticks with you.

    I have weird dreams while I am pregnant. Its the extra hormone (I think I read that somewhere).

    I had a crazy, horror movie-type dream last night that then had me up for an hour afterward. You know, because I am not tired enough.

    I have been having weird dreams almost every night! Some are so realistic, I sometimes cannot decipher if they really happened or not...(some are obveously so crazy that I know it didnt happen...)...Just another weird pregnancy side effect!

    I had a dream that I had a baby that was half human and half eagle. I didn't want to take it home. But DH says "don't worry, at least it's a patriotic baby!" I didn't even try to decipher that!

    I've been having very vivid scary dreams the past few nights. I had three last night that were disturbing. It probably didnt help that I watched the last hour if Silence of the Lambs before going to best last because it was on tv.

    You're definitely pregnant with the tests!! The weird dream is all part of pregnancy : I've been having crazy ones that are so lifelike! I've woke up crying, laughing, hitting my hubs lol all part of the fun experience!
