Hi ladies! I just wanted to introduce myself. I lost my first son in Feb 08, he was full-term and died just a few minutes before birth due to a delayed c/section.
This past May I gave birth to another beautiful baby boy by c/s as well. It's been difficult but amazing as well.
For some reason I had not noticed this board, and I am SO GLAD it's here... because some days are so difficult for me. I think so much of my little angel and my thoughts get so distracted but then I realize that I have no more time to "grieve" because my LO needs all my attention.
Well, I hope to get to know you ladies! Thx!

Hi, I remember you from the PL board. Welcome here and congratulations. I know what you mean about having difficult days. There are times I look at my little girl and know exactly what I missed out on with my son. He is on my mind ALL the time but not always in such a sad way. I know he is my daughters Guardian Angel and we will be with him again some day in Heaven. Until then I will spend my time raising my daughter in honor of my son and do the best job I can. I do not take her for granted and try to enjoy everything with her - even the difficult and challenging times.

I remember your screen name and your story. I am so glad that you delivered a healthy baby boy a few months ago! I bet the whole pregnancy and delivery was very scary the second time around.

I think that many of us struggle with thinking about our lost LO's - whether it was a miscarriage or the loss of full term baby. I couldn't imagine going through what you did. I think you'll find that our board tries to find the humor in parenting, or in my case the attempt at parenting and I think many times our posts are light hearted, but... we are also a very supportive group that is here to hold you up when you're feeling down.
