Well it's been a year

Well Ladies, it's been a year of TTC and no BFP yet! SAD FACE! I don't know what the deal is! My cycles have been regular (standard 28-29 days every month) since last January. I'm still BFing but not exclusively and I get a +opk every month.

I spoke with a good friend who is a family doc and she said that it is not uncommon to have secondary infertility and to set up an appointment! Before she said that, I figured my doctor would be like "Well, you're nursing and you've obviously already had a baby so be patient!" I guess I'll call and see what's up. It took us 5 cycles last time. If anyone has any words of wisdom or advice, I'm listening!! I'm sad after 12 months of BFNs, and we really want to have our kids close in age.

Thanks girls. Max's sleep is still all over the place so I haven't been temping. I think I'll try next month. But I think the positive opks and knowledge of my cycle, cm etc is a pretty solid indication that I am indeed ovulating but it wouldn't hurt to confirm with temps.

Have you been taking OPKs everyday of the month? A lot of women build up to O but don't and then O later in their cycle. You won't know if that is happening unless you confirm with temps.

I have 2nd IF and it sucks! I would definitely give your Dr a call and they may refer you to a RE. I have always had to take medicated cycles to conceive ie: clomid or fermera. Good luck and the ladies on the 2nd IF board can be very helpful.
